Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how EIDL Debt ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit eidldebt.com (the "Site") or submit a form or request on the Site. By using the Site or submitting your information, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are and what we do
EIDL Debt operates a marketing and lead-referral service. We are not a lender, law firm, government agency, or service provider. We collect information from people who are interested in the products or services featured on the Site, and we sell and share that information with third-party marketing partners, advertisers, and service providers who may contact you about their offerings. Please see Section 4.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a form, quiz, or request on the Site, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, business name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, and the answers you give to our questions (for example, amounts, timelines, budget ranges, and general circumstances).
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our technology providers automatically collect certain information, including your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring and exit pages, the pages you view, the links you click, and general location inferred from your IP address. We collect this using cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies (see Section 6).
Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from advertising and analytics partners, data providers, and the marketing partners we work with, and we may combine it with the information described above.
We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or government identification numbers through the Site. Please do not submit that kind of information in free-text fields.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Match your request with third-party marketing partners and route your information to them.
- Respond to your inquiry and send you related communications, including by email, phone call, and text message where you have consented.
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
- Measure and optimize our advertising and marketing.
- Detect and prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
- Enforce our Terms of Use and protect our rights.
4. How we sell and share your information
We sell and share your information. This is a core part of our service, and we want to be clear about it. When you submit a request, your information is sold and/or shared with one or more third-party marketing partners, which may include lenders, brokers, funding providers, debt-relief firms, childcare providers, agencies, advertisers, and other companies, depending on the Site. Those partners may then contact you by phone call, text message, and email about their products and services.
We may also share your information with:
- Service providers that perform functions on our behalf (for example hosting, analytics, form processing, call routing, and customer support).
- Advertising and analytics partners, as described in Section 6.
- Legal and safety recipients, when we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, safety, or property of any person.
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
Once your information is transferred to a third-party partner, that partner's own privacy policy governs how it uses your information. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties, and you should review their policies directly.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA/CPRA"), and under similar laws in other states, our transfer of your information to marketing partners may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You have the right to opt out. See Section 8 and our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.
5. Categories of information sold or shared
In the past twelve months we have collected and sold or shared the following categories of personal information (as defined by the CCPA/CPRA):
- Identifiers (such as name, email address, phone number, IP address).
- Commercial or transaction-related details you provide in our forms (such as amounts, budget ranges, and timelines).
- Internet or network activity (such as browsing and interaction with the Site).
- Geolocation data (general location, such as ZIP code or IP-based location).
- Inferences drawn from the above to match you with relevant partners.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16 years of age.
6. Cookies and tracking technologies
We and our partners use cookies, web beacons, pixels, session-replay tools, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your inputs, measure performance, and deliver and measure advertising, including advertising on third-party platforms. Some of these technologies are provided by third parties (for example advertising networks and analytics providers) that may collect information about your online activities over time and across different sites.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and many advertising partners offer opt-outs through the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org). We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for the browser that sends it.
7. Your communication choices
- Email: you can unsubscribe from our marketing emails using the link in any message. You may still receive messages from partners you were matched with; contact them directly to opt out.
- Text messages: reply STOP to any text to opt out of further texts from that sender. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
- Phone calls: you can ask any caller to place you on their internal do-not-call list.
Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional or legally required messages.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
- The right to know / access the personal information we have collected about you.
- The right to delete your personal information.
- The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising.
- The right to limit the use of sensitive personal information, where applicable.
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws: you may exercise these rights as provided under your state's law. To opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page or contact us at privacy@eidldebt.com. To make any other request, contact us at privacy@eidldebt.com with the details of your request.
How we verify requests. To protect your information, we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, which may include confirming information you previously provided. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to reasonable proof of authorization. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
9. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide our service, comply with our legal obligations (including keeping records of consent), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect, including transmission over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for adults (18 and older) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. Where the Site relates to services for families, we collect information from the parent or guardian, not from children, and we ask that you not submit a child's name, photo, or other identifying details. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at privacy@eidldebt.com and we will delete it.
12. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites and services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above, and material changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
